ESGmark® is delighted to welcome The Sustainable Events Company as the newest member of our community, and the first events company to receive the ESGmark® certification. The Sustainable Events Company cares deeply about creating standout events that deliver impact for their clients while minimising impact on the planet.
The award of the ESGmark® only occurs after passing a rigorous analysis of an organisation’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) credentials. The award is an important recognition of the objectives, intentions and actions taken by a company, its management and other team members. Attainment of the certification is an important way for organisations to communicate with their clients and other stakeholders and demonstrate their responsible approach to business.

We blend some pretty great ideas with simple and inobtrusive measures to reduce the carbon footprint to a minimum practical level, ensuring that our clients get all the ‘good stuff’ with as little of the ‘bad stuff’ as possible. We never lose sight of the fact that minimising the carbon footprint of any event is just one of the metrics for success. So, while there are a small number of things that are ‘off-the-table’ (think flying in guests on private jets!), our policy is to say ‘yes’ and then, by using our expertise, over-deliver on our clients’ expectations in the most carbon efficient way.
